Changing settlement patterns and subsistence strategies in Northeast China: Results of the Yueliang regional survey

Between 2012 and 2016, a systematic regional survey was conducted around the Xinhuang Yueliang Lakes in northwest Jilin, Northeast China. This paper investigates results of that fieldwork. We are especially interested degree to which settlements integrated with one another. The spatial analysis shed new light on local trajectory settlement patterns subsistence strategies from pre-Neolithic historical era, provides data about current ancient environment socio-economic changes this region how they differ other nearby regions.
